Once a popular bowling alley, Sto-Kent Family Entertainment announced its closing on Facebook in September, citing the pandemic as the reason.
Sitting on a little more than three acres, the 21,000-square-foot property was built in 1959 and features a 24-lane bowling alley. There is also a miniature golf course, two sand volleyball courts, a food stand and parking for more than 120 cars.
The minimum bid for the site of the once-popular bowling alley is $520,000, according to auctioneer Chris Davis.
“We’ve already had a handful of people reach out who are interested,” he said. “This place must have been busy back in the day. I think the auction is going to have a good turnout.”
The former owners of Sto-Kent Family Entertainment did not provide comment.
