Trump attacks Jan. 6 committee, Pence and Barr in speech to conservative group

The number of business leaders signing a letter urging “bold action” from the Senate on gun violence has grown to more than 500, organizers said Friday, in the latest sign that the corporate community is eager to see action in response to the recent spate of mass shootings.

The letter, coordinated by the advocacy group Everytown for Gun Safety, was released last week with about 220 signatures. Some of the new signatories include Yahoo, the Golden State Warriors, Squarespace, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Guardians, Penguin Random House, Macmillan Publishers, Alliant Insurance Services and La Colombe Coffee Roasters.
