ISU Students organize health and wellness fair

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A group of Indiana State students are hosting a Health and Wellness fair for Terre Haute residents on Tuesday, November 15th.

Providers for physical, mental and nutritional health will be on hand. Organizer and ISU student Grace Buswell said she hopes the event can raise awareness for some of the resources in the community.

“We wanted to do the health and wellness side of things because we really feel like that’s a good aspect of the Terre Haute community, just how many things there are that people don’t know about, that talk about health and wellness in the community,” she said.

Buswell said the event is part of a class she’s taking through the Scott College of Business. She said it’s been a good experience to put this event together.

“Getting to work with six other great people in my group to plan everything out, learn how to talk to business professionals in the industry, combining it all. It was really fun, but I will also say it was also a little stressful,” she said.

The event will be at Dede III at Rose-Hulman Student Union from 5-7 p.m.
