The John P. Holt Brentwood Library will host its first-ever summer reading kickoff event Splash into Summer onFriday, June 3.

The fun will start at 4 p.m. in the library parking lot at 8109 Concord Road in Brentwood. There will be carnival-style games (ending at 6 p.m.), food trucks and fun activities.

It will be a great time to sign up for a library card, learn about the library’s upcoming summer reading programs and meet and sign up with the Friends of the Brentwood Library, which is funding the event.
